It’s San Diego after all, so outdoor newborn sessions can be done year-round! I mean, unless it’s raining of course, but how often does that happen? There’s nothing quite like being outdoors in nature. We live in one of the best cities in the world, with amazing weather. Why not take advantage of it and do newborn sessions outdoors? We take nature’s beauty and incorporate it into your San Diego newborn photography session. We can use flowers, trees, shrubs, leaves etc. We can still use most props that are used in studio as they are sized perfectly for tiny new humans. Babies will be dressed appropriately for the weather. In cooler months, San Diego newborns will be wrapped cozy or in fuzzy outfits and hats can also be used to keep warm. In warmer months, babies will not be bundled up as much. San Diego outdoor newborn sessions are done right outside my studio door! I do it this way for a number of reasons. You get endless prop and color options! If I travel with props, I will only be able to bring a limited number of items. Also, I can (somewhat) control the foliage and bring in specific types or colors if needed. We can also do a combination of studio AND outdoor newborn photos, the best of both worlds! You won’t find many Newborn photographers in San Diego that actually offer outdoor sessions! NO matter what you choose, I will make sure that your baby is comfortable and safe, and we will capture amazing newborn images.
